My name is Skye Civitella and I’m a Champlain College Alum with a BFA in Graphic Design & Visual Communication, earned in May of 2022.
Attending Champlain College in Burlington, Vermont, allowed me to be myself and express my creativity freely. I was enrolled in many design classes that kept me on track with accomplishing my vision as a designer, and in turn was able to foster into many exciting design opportunities/experiences that can be found in my resume.
Art has always been a passion of mine since a young age, whether it’s creating usable pieces in the ceramics room, doodling in my sketchbook, or creating graphic design works on the computer with the Adobe Suite. Graphic Design is something that I enjoy doing and allows my creative ideas to flow. Aside from design I enjoy anything outdoors, including kayaking, hammocking, hiking, skiing, camping, rock climbing, cliff jumping and even skydiving! Drawing a lot of inspiration for my designs from the outdoors and nature.
I’m described as someone who is motivated, organized, open-minded, creative, a quick learner, problem solver, respectful, and detail oriented when it comes to work, designing, and many other aspects in life. Along with these characteristics I have experience with the Adobe Suite and Procreate.
I am now based in Salt Lake City, Utah, and am loving it since the big move! I enjoy the access to so many outdoor activities & experiences and feel it aligns perfectly with my goal of working in the outdoor/snow sports industry.
