For these two snowboard designs, I explored unique and imaginative concepts that blend unexpected themes with snowboard culture.
The first design, titled "Ouija Board-Snowboard," draws inspiration directly from the iconic imagery of the classic Ouija board game. The top graphics reflect the mysterious and mystical symbols found on the game board itself, while the bottom features the oracle piece hovering over the word Burton—another playful nod to the game's interactive elements.
My second design, "Tattoo Practice on a Lemon," takes a more unconventional approach. It features a tattoo gun in the process of inking a lemon, referencing a common practice among tattoo artists who use fruit skin as a canvas to refine their skills before working on real skin. This concept symbolizes creativity, learning, which are ideas that come to mind in the snowboard world as well.
In addition to the boards, I also designed custom bindings to complement the overall aesthetic and complete the look. Together, these pieces showcase my ability to merge art, storytelling, and functionality in snowboard design.
