I created this piece by flipping and reflecting a pair of Dobermans I had drawn, and in the overlapping space between them, I saw the shape of a butterfly begin to emerge. Inspired by that moment, I leaned into the vision—refining and drawing into it until the image fully came to life.
The process felt almost like a Rorschach test, where a symmetrical form reveals something unexpected and symbolic. I’m really happy with how it turned out and could definitely see this design being used as a tattoo—it’s bold, balanced, and layered with visual meaning.
